Dear Fellow Hobbyists
As many of you may know, Transport Canada is now holding UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) engagement sessions on rule making, for stakeholders across the country. I, along with two colleagues, attended the Halifax session in mid August.
As part of that process, they are requesting our written feedback. I have formulated feedback, and am including it here for your reference. I would ask that anyone else who is so inclined, please do the same. The feedback e-mail address is included at the end of their presentation, as included below.
Now is the chance to help formulate regulation and mitigate its affects on the hobbies that we love. If you don't think new regulations should impact park flyers, modelers and MAAC members that fly on their own property, or model aircraft that don't have cameras, now is the time to speak up!
